Samantha & Nate – Kent Island Wedding

Only a few short months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Samantha and Nate at a local Starbucks to chit chat about the possibility of me photographing their wedding. Despite Nate being a Red Sox fan, I instantly hearted them. Anyone in a 10 foot radius of them had to know they were madly in love. They look at each other with so much kindness it really could melt your heart. And they giggle! And laugh! Because both of them are so funny! After about an hour of story swapping and smiling, they decided I was the photographer for them and I could not have been more happy!

This past weekend Samantha and Nate tied the knot very close to where Samantha grew up. The ceremony was so sweet, the church was filled with happy people, and those happy people turned into party animals come reception time! Which made for some super fun photos. Please sit back, relax and enjoy the photos!!

While Sam was getting ready upstairs, hot stuff, whoops, I mean, Nate was getting ready downstairs. Looking pretty sharp!

It’s impossible not to smile when you are around these two! They are too cute with their smiles!

While Jenny, the MOH, had the duty of lacing up the dress, Abby kept Sam entertained with a grueling round of double thumb war!

Love Dad’s expression in this one.

I had never seen this done before and I liked it muches! The bride and groom, after initially recessing, went back down the aisles to greet their parents and grandparents as well as other wedding guests.

These gals have known each other since they were little. They are too cute.

Too much cuteness!!

This guy was too funny! He has dance offs! And apparently he takes his shirt off “every time!” “It happens every time!!!”

This is Chris & Emma – I heart these two. They have been at other weddings I have photographed. This time was the third! Chris is the one who filled Samantha in on my awesomeness – so he is extra cool in my book!

A little romance to end the evening.

Samantha & Nate – I could not be more happy for you both. Looking at these pics just makes me want to crawl through the computer and give you hugs! Your day was gorgeous and could not have been more perfect. I hope you have a spectacular time on the Disney Cruise!!!

Lauren - I was a guest at this wedding (You liked my boots!) and I just wanted to compliment you on the amazing photography. You captured Sam and Nate and the atmosphere of the wedding and reception amazingly.

Your ability to capture “that moment” is really impeccable.

Samantha - Dani… I could not have wished for a more wonderful photographer. You and Steve were a blast to hang out with, and I laughed so much with you both! Looking at these photos, I am reliving every moment – and you caught them all! Your ideas for different backgrounds and poses, etc., all turned out as beautiful as you said they would. I am so glad we were able to work with you! If I could crawl through the computer, I would hug you right back.

Laura (mom of bride) - The pictures are beautiful, second only to the real thing! Samantha’s Dad and I love the mix of color and black-and-white. Both you and Steve were a pleasure to have around. You captured the day without feeling intrusive. I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Thank you for everything!

Grandma Chafe - These photographs are wonderful. It brings back the wedding very vividly. Both Nate and Sam make a great couple! I am very happy to have another granddaughter. I can’t believe, my first grandchild, little “Natty Bumpo” is married.
