At the end of the year, Lauren, Jenn and I and about 50 million other woman were made the happiest ladies on Earth because two of the greatest boy bands in HISTORY announced they were going to tour together! New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys? Yes, please. It wasn’t even a discussion, because there wasn’t anything to discuss, we didn’t care the cost, or that our boys thought we were literally psycho, we were going. Hands down going. The minute tickets went on sale Jenn put her magic skills to work and got the most amazing seats ever. This Friday I was right where I wanted to be. I think. Well, actually, I think I wanted to be 4 rows up where I could look at the eye candy closer and maybe try to touch one. 🙂
Here are some highlights!!
Started out at Wok n Roll – best Chinese food in Chinatown!
Prettiest gals at the concert!!!
I’m sorry, does my ticket say floor??? FLOOR? OMG! Is that for real the stage??? You can tell I usually sit in the nose bleeds.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The yelling and screaming was so intense I had goosebumps and felt like wind was literally blowing in my ears. These guys are the smartest peeps I know. If you think about it, getting them to team up now and tour is seriously the best idea ever. Why? Because I liked them when I was 12 and even younger for NKOTB. That was 14+ years ago. So now you have thousands of woman my age packed into this arena, fuel them with alcohol because we can drink now and we are beyond ecstatic because those “boys” we liked when we were 12 are men, and have abs, and deeper voices and still can dance like they did when they were teenagers. Brillant.
Crazy fireworks happened often during this show! Some of them actually startled me….and Jenn. But so cool!!
Wish they all turned out this clear – I must not have been jumping up and down like a 12 year old for this one.
Bravery – sending Donnie out to be one with the fans. I am surprised he didn’t get eaten alive.
Only moments before he ripped his shirt off. 🙂
There would be random pieces of confetti falling every once and awhile before the show started and all I could think about and told Lauren was that I so hope confetti falls at the end. I have always wanted to be in a confetti cloud like at the end of Biggest Loser or American Idol when they announce the winner. I was so happy when it rained confetti!!!! I even took 9 pieces home with me – one for each member of NKOTBSB. 🙂
