El Patio

I think I found my calling. Don’t get me wrong, I am madly in love with weddings and couples and forehead kissing and white puffy dresses and DJs that still play the electric slide, but, FOOD! Come on, man! Food photography is where it is at!! I get to eat some amazing food while in the process and afterwards!! Weddings, heck, I don’t get to eat until everyone else has eaten and then as the coordinator or caterer drops off my food I am also told but we are going to start speeches in 60 seconds so you have about 30 seconds to eat, turn your flashes back on and make sure you have the right lens attached to your camera. FOOD Photography! That doesn’t happen, they are constantly bringing you food!!! And then you get to smell it, and salivate as you take photos and then you get to eat it! So, since I am new to the world of food photography, despite the fact that I read every cookbook known to man that has photos in it, please please please tell me these make you want to eat them!!!

El Patio is a great Argentinean restaurant off Randolph Road. Please go, Marylanders!! Tell them Dani (the photographer!) sent ya!

This is what I ate an entire plate of. Squash Gnocchi. So amazing!

And this was my to go dessert. So delicious.
