Newborn Colt

Well, well, well. It’s snowing. All I can think about is that this little baby has already been through about 3 snow/ice storms in his first few months of life. That is definitely 3 too many. About a week before I was scheduled to do Amber and Drew’s maternity session, I saw a beautiful, happy family photo after Colt had just been born, on Facebook. I was super worried but Amber’s photo assured us that everyone was fine, baby Colt would just be in the NICU for a few weeks. 26 days later, Colt was finally released from the NICU and brought home. Colt was born so early that their furniture only just got delivered this weekend so I took advantage of the empty nursery for some awesome shots. He already has so much personality. He smiles really big, and stretches so tall, and if I am being completely honest, he seemed like the happiest newborn I had ever met. I think it is because he escaped early and is pretty happy about it. I cannot wait to get this little one in front of my camera again. He is just the cutest!

Poor Drew never got to wear his Daddy scrubs at the hospital. I was happy to snag a few shots of him in them. 🙂
