Katie and Mike!! These two lovebirds were the life of the party at Laura and Mike’s beautiful wedding last year (hey newlyweds!! Don’t worry – I mean other than you! Because clearly you two were the life of the party!). I had so much fun photographing them dancing like they were crazy in love all night so when the emailed about their very own wedding, I was nuts excited!! We set up their engagement session for last week. I had so much fun wandering around the area that Katie and Mike live in Baltimore. We hit up Fed Hill Park but then got to walk around some of the streets I haven’t explored in a photography sense in Federal Hill. I loved hearing where they hang out, where the best happy hours are, where they were getting oysters after their shoot and just catching up after not seeing them since they booked with me. Oh and we made a new friend who thought the alley I was shooting in was definitely not the best place for photos – just so yall know Fed Hill Park and Fort McHenry are the best spots in his book! We chuckled at that and then they went back to being totally in love in front of my camera. They brought their A game for photos, for sure!
