With a background in counseling, photography became a creative outlet to an otherwise very tough day job. Photography has brought so many people into my life and taught me so many new things about myself and the world around me. I learned that I love to travel, seeking those deserted beaches and lost streets and going to places many others haven’t yet. I find solace in those places. And inspiration. But it’s people that truly ignite me and make me love my job everyday. The Laughter. Forgiveness. Courage. Love. Long after a wedding is over, I might forget all the details, but I never forget the emotion. I smile when I edit. To a point it is truly embarrassing. To me, every image should make you feel something. It usually makes me feel an overwhelming sense of comfort. I want to create images that are as beautiful and authentic as the people in them. I want you to love your photos as much in 30 years as you did when you received them. I love creating images that speak of your love, your in between moments, and all that makes your story unique and genuine. I love couples who trust me to do just that.
