I know this isn’t the story of Torrey and me but I sorta want to tell the story of Torrey and me. After all, they have another opportunity to be on this blog in less than two months after their wedding. 🙂 When I responded to my acceptance to Hood, the best small college ever, I was so crazy excited about living on campus, being surrounded by tons of new friends and getting to participate in so many traditions that had been happening at Hood since the late 1890s. One of those traditions was getting a “big sis.” Before you got to campus, you got paired up with another student – a junior – who would forever be known as your big sis. Lucky for me (and her!), I was paired up with Torrey and before she even had a chance to write me, I sent her a long letter on cute stationary and my senior portrait and then immediately felt like a loser but also knew that if my big sis was anything like me then she would appreciate it. And she did! She wrote back and super cool stationary and said she couldn’t wait to meet me on campus. That was in 2002. And we are still calling each other big and little sis 11 years later. I could not have been more excited to have Torrey and Dave come down to Bmore from their home in NJ to see my new studio and gallivant around Canton so I could take photos of these two lovebirds. And now I super can’t wait for their wedding in July!!!
Love!
So much cuteness!
I love her ring –  it’s her grandma’s stone and designed with love from Dave. 🙂
