When I met with Lauren for the first time, there was zero doubt in my mind that her and I could be bff’s. We met in Towson at a Starbucks that is on this weird, tricky corner and I stole pretty much the very last spot – and felt badly after I realized that I beat out my bride and her sister, Alli for the spot. Luckily, they got over me stealing it and ended up chatting up all afternoon until Alli had to get to her soccer game. I hadn’t met Spencer until their engagement session because he was active military and was away until then and Spencer was just as hysterical and fun and outgoing as Lauren described him. Which essentially meant that I really, really couldn’t wait for the wedding. And then, this past weekend, it finally came!!
Lauren & Spencer – I first off hope that you did absolutely nothing the rest of the weekend and that all of you boxes from moving are still packed aside from some clean sheets. Between moving from Florida to Pennsylvania, taking med school boards, GETTING MARRIED, and everything else, you deserve a day off. Thanks for pretty much reading my mind every second on Friday, laughing with me about geese poop, and making me and my heart smile. You two are incredible!!
You just know the wedding is going to be epic when the groom does this when I flip to him to see his face when his bride is walking down the aisle.
Laurennnnnnn, you are so pretty!!!!!!! See? I told you, you wouldn’t be able to tell you are sick!! 🙂
I could tell Spencer had some energy to burn before we finished up pictures. I told him he could have 15 seconds to do whatever he wanted and I would snap away. This is what happened.
Ahh all that energy out.
Ok for serious. I don’t usually eat cake at weddings….well, not all the time, especially when it is hot. But then my BFFs Lauren and Spencer told me that there was peanut butter cheesecake cupcakes and I knew I had to try at least one….or two…I don’t know. So I did! And it was massively delicious!
And then Lauren’s dad tells me that she works with him and brings cake to work all the time and I was flabbergasted that she didn’t do this all the time for a living and THEN he showed me this photo and I automatically got diabetes. And then salivated because it looks amazing and reese’s are so good. Enough said.
Their amazing singer friend sang “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes. Hunter may have some competition soon because he sounded just like him!!
I love that my couples now want this shot and tell me that before it’s dark out. They are all the best!
on any of these fine social media platforms…
I’m based in Maryland, DC and Northern VA but don’t worry, I LOVE to travel.
I love me a new passport stamp.
