I have to admit, I am pretty damn sad this wedding is over and at the same time super excited to re-live it through the editing process. It was absolutely gorgeous and Amber and Drew are so meant to be. I loved getting to know them throughout this whole process. I loved learning about how they met and fell in love – classic story of girl chases after boy but then girl decides to stop chasing boy and boy starts chasing after her after all. I loved their beach proposal – how Drew and Amber reminisced about their relationship all day on the beach in Fenwick Island and then they decided to go on a sunset walk that ended up being the most memorable walk on the beach at sunset ever – because not every sunset walk do you get a diamond ring. And then the wedding – I loved getting to know Amber’s bridesmaids – they were all just so wonderful and fun and made me feel like one of the friends. And the groomsmen were definitely a riot as well with their custom made pants…that provided an awesome level of comfort 😉 – oh those boys. It was just such a wonderful day and process and I was so happy to be a part of it.
Amber & Drew – From the moment we met at that crappy Starbucks in Columbia, I knew I was in for a great day, but I had no idea, none, just how lovely and wonderful your day actually would be. Words really can’t express how much I appreciate being part of your love story. Hope you are having an amazing time in Maui and are taking a lot of sunset walks on the beach. 🙂

I also want to take a second to thank my amazing second shooter, Anna. She is just incredible and I have so enjoyed working with her so much, which is great because she is with me almost every wedding these last few months and cannot wait to continue working with her this year. Hopefully next too! She has been an amazing addition with her talent and she has become such a close friend to me – keeping me calm in moments where I would have been frazzled otherwise, getting me water, already doing everything I am thinking about before I can even ask, I cannot imagine weddings without her. Anna’s work is prevalent throughout this post. I’ll have to get her in front of my camera when the wedding season dies down so I can officially introduce her. In the meantime, check out her brief bio on my webpage.
Loved this idea!!

I truly loved this venue and all the great decor Elle designed.
I’m pretty in love with all these first dance photos.
Surprise dance. They did the first dance that Jacoby did on Dancing With The Stars – it was so fun!!!
