Seriously, dudes, I have the best job in the world. Every weekend I get to wake up and go to a wedding. I get to see a bride getting even more gorgeous, I get to see the groom when he sees his bride at the end of the aisle, I get to hang out and meet the most awesome people – especially ones with totally baller socks, and moms that I feel like I know before I even meet them – I get to eat, watch people make crazy fool’s of themselves on the dance floor because who cares? It’s a wedding and most of all I get to work with the most amazing couples. Jessica and Phillip are no exception. I know it sounds so cliche at this point considering how much I say it but sorry to all other wedding photogs, I have THE BEST clients in the world (and I know most of us feel that way, but it’s just so true).
This past Friday, I woke up in extreme wedding mode. Someone sent me a text asking about high five for Friday and I actually responded “It’s Saturday, you fool” that is how much I was in wedding mode. And needless to say, there was no high five for Friday post. I made my way over to the pent house at the Sheraton – seriously this place was bigger than my whole house – and got to meet all the bridesmaids and see Jamie from Baltimore Bridal Beauty for the 3rd or 4th time this year and Natasha from Maryland Wedding Makeup who I have seen countless times this year! I love a day that is filled with amazing vendors and this wedding was filled with them. The reception was amazing – it was happy, fun, cheerful, lighthearted. It was a perfect way to celebrate the two of them. 🙂
Jessica & Phillip – thank you for making this a memorable and amazing experience for me, from booking me to the wedding date (and after – because we are going to be friends after all this!) I have felt so comfortable around the two of you and felt like part of the family at the wedding – yay for sitting with the parents!! It was so fun!! I hope you have had a relaxing few days at the Finger Lakes and I hope you always remember that this world is so much better because people like to two of you exist and find each other. I know you two are unstoppable. Congrats!!
