I love weddings that are years in the making. These two have been together for 8 years. They have survived all of high school and all of college and they did it together. After the wedding, Allison’s mom sent me an email and my first response back was thank you so much for raising such a kind and wonderful daughter. Chris is no exception either, he is an absolute sweetheart (with a wild side I didn’t know about until the reception when he was going to get low with Grandma – that is up there with best moment ever at a wedding). These two have been absolute joys to work with throughout the last year, keeping everything super simple and fun for me as their photographer.
Their wedding was last weekend at the Renaissance in Baltimore. The last time I was there, I was so focused on outdoor photos that I didn’t even explore the possibilities inside. This time, having arrived early, Anna and I gallivanted through the Gallery and picked out a few spots that would be absolutely perfect for photos, even some that may not seem like the most obvious places. Some of them gave off an airport vibe to me which naturally I love because I am obsessed with airports. So, just know, we shot all of their portraits in the Gallery, which is a mall attached to the Renaissance.
Allison and Chris – I hope you are having an amazing time laying on a beach in Aruba!! I am so sorry I didn’t send you food recommendations – but honestly, you can’t go wrong! I love Aruba (note: I should probably blog that soon…)! You two are amazing and I know that your love and doing everything together will take you both so far. I have adored working with you both and can’t wait until I get you in front of my camera again!!

So gorgeous.
This was by far the funniest ceremony I had ever been too. Done by one of the favorite priests and an awesome rabbi. They cracked so many jokes and held back saying H-E-double hockey stick under the chuppah.
Right??? Don’t you want to shoot a bride and groom in a mall now????
This girl was awesome. At singing, at dancing, at everything. I want to be her bff.
This was a highlight of the night for sure – everything this little kid would do, these 4 adult men would do too. Crazy how out of breath the adults were while he just kept on going.
on any of these fine social media platforms…
I’m based in Maryland, DC and Northern VA but don’t worry, I LOVE to travel.
I love me a new passport stamp.
