I was so excited to be back at the Elkridge Furnace Inn last Sunday for Christina & Brian’s wedding. The day was truly magical; the wind blew leave down on them during the ceremony, it was the perfect temperature and most importantly – for a Sunday night – the friends and family at this wedding totaly acted as if it was just the start to their weekend. I think the awesome music from Ridiculous Entertainment (best name ever) helped too. These two love birds met in Chicago where Christina was in her fourth year of seminary school and Brian came back home from grad school on the west coast. Enter the website OkCupid. Through a mutual disdain for tomatoes, they bonded online and one tomato free lunch turned into several dates. They have been together in Maryland since October of 2011. True love.
Christina & Brian – I know you are soaking up everything Rome has to offer right now and I could not be more excited for you two! I hope that your story continues on a wonderful path and I am so glad that fate intervened and allowed your two to find each other because you were both meant to be. 🙂
Thanks so much to my second shooter, Anna, for pulling out 3 weddings with me last weekend and keeping me sane! You are the bestest!
The officiant was so great. He made them thank the tomato and just when you thought he was going to make them take a bite, instead he had them throw them over the side of the altar. Adorable.
I loved this shot even though I would have liked to not have cut it off so much. Such a beautiful moment.
on any of these fine social media platforms…
I’m based in Maryland, DC and Northern VA but don’t worry, I LOVE to travel.
I love me a new passport stamp.
