Last Saturday was Sarah and Matt’s wedding day. I loved every second of being a part of it. I got to spend my morning with the ladies. I love the organized chaos that comes with a group of girls getting ready. Dress bags everywhere, bobby pins, makeup, seeing the flowers for the first time and Sarah’s long time friends facetiming their momma’s so they could be part of it and see the beautiful bride. Then comes the getting the bride into the dress – the what do we do’s, how are we doing this. It’s funny how all that chaos seems to stop as soon as the bride is in her dress. There is a calm that happens. And it happens at every wedding. We quickly did a first look with dad – so emotional, I even got teary – and did a few shots with the girls before the drizzle became real rain. The good news is after the ceremony at the church – it went back to a slight drizzle and even though Sarah hates rain, she braved it long enough for some great shots in the vineyard.
Sarah & Matt – I am really cold as I type this and my windows are closed. You are in Jamaica debating whether or not to come home, my advice is to definitely stay there through the winter because I have a feeling it is going to be a cold one. 🙂 But seriously, you two are awesome. I have loved getting to know you and I love how kind you have been through this whole process – through the emails, and phone calls, to buying me a bottle of wine at the engagement session, it has all been wonderful. While I am glad you two are in the married club, I am sad to see it end. Heart you two!

Special thanks again to, Anna, my super talented second shooter!
Sarah is so gorgeous.
I don’t normally blog the readers, but this one looked right at my camera. And was hilarious.
Would you believe me if I told you that when I went through these, I had no photos with anyone blinking? I took about 20. No blinking. So weird.
I love all of them but I like this one a lot!
A short long exposure without the tripod. I didn’t breath.

I love me a new passport stamp.
