Remember Kristy and Chris? Well, Kristy’s sister is getting married as well! And I am so excited to have both of their weddings to look forward to! I adored Kari and Jason from the minute I opened the studio door, they were both smiling huge smiles and they accepted my offer of wine. I partook as well and much merriment was had by all – can you tell I am in a cloud of cold medicine? Much merriment was had by all? Regardless, it is the truth, we laughed away almost two hours of time and I knew they were the right couple for me. This past weekend I met them at their alma mater where they met and fell in love to do their engagement session and I was so excited to finally step foot on that campus. When I was growing up passing “the Mount” always gave me the creeps because of the “lady on the hill.” But walking up to the lady on the hill and seeing the view – I get it. I know why people love that school. It is probably one of the same reasons I fell in love with Hood. It is small and quaint and you just feel at home. I loved wandering around the campus, re-living all their memories of the place and I felt like I got to know them that much more. Plus, the foliage is beyond gorgeous. All of this just made me even more excited for their wedding next November!! Here’s to hoping the leaves are just as gorgeous!
