Molly and Alan are a J Date success story. For those of you who don’t know what J Date is, it is the eharmony of the Jewish world, a place for you to meet Jewish singles in our area. But Molly and Alan met years prior when Alan dated Molly’s roommate in 2007. Three years later, they got it right and started dating. The proposal came on Molly’s birthday, when she was least expecting it. Alan had planned a birthday dinner in DC and that his friend would be picking her up. Instead, a limo pulled up and Molly was super pumped for a limo ride! Not even knowing that Alan was just on the other side of the windows waiting to propose. He even thought ahead enough to plant his camera with the limo driver so he could snap some photos.
Last week, among many family and friends, they tied the knot. I loved being with them all day. Molly was so calm all morning, walking around in her yoga pants, reliving memories of the bachelorette party and the showers that have led up to this day with all of her friends. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was one for the books. The band, Nightsong, made me feel like I had front row seats to a really awesome concert and all of the guests danced the night away. It truly was a perfect evening.
Molly and Alan – I hope you have had an incredibly relaxing time in Aruba! And that you went to the Flying Fish! I wish you all nothing but happiness and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. 🙂
