A few hours before I left for Boston last week, I got to photograph these lovely people!! Lauren and Troy are so wonderful. These two lovebirds met at work in a field that is near and dear to my heart given my old job of working at an organ procurement organization. They both work on the transplant team at a hospital in Mineesota, Lauren specifically in liver transplants. Being in Minnesota and being single is no fun, there is not much of a singles scene there so after one happy that Troy organized for the team, they decided it was time to “date” aka go to a movie and dinner and say it isn’t a date but later it turns into a first date. After the movie they went to a noisy, Irish pub with a ton of people but the only two that really matter were Lauren and Troy because they quickly realized they were falling in love.

Their wedding is next March and it totally involves their favorite literary classics, yes, I am calling it a classic: Harry Potter. They decided to include a few things from that theme throughout the session. We had a ton of fun shooting that morning and I cannot wait to show them all to you!!
