Well, today I am posting my very first of what I hope is many same sex weddings. Nicole and Lauren are so special to me. From the minute they walked into my studio, I loved them. They are kind, so loving, and so genuine in their emotions for each other and their family and friends. I remember them explaining to me their vision for the photography on their wedding day – that they wanted the photos to express how in love they were, tenderly and sweetly. I am so hoping that comes through in these photos. It oozes out of them so easily, it wasn’t hard to capture in the slightest. Lauren and Nicole met while teaching at a charter school in New Orleans – aka one of my most favorite cities in the good old USofA. 4 years later Nicole proposed to Lauren in the middle of Jackson Square and only a little more than a week ago – they tied the knot for good. It was so beautiful and I could not have been more honored to be a part of it all!!
