The minute I met Laura and Mike in our shared favorite city, Frederick, at Bean’s and Bagels, I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding day and then make them lifelong friends. So far so good. Their day could not have been more perfect. Laura was so calm and excited at the same time and Mike was super excited and super chill as well. They both got ready at Walker’s Overlook, which boasts quarters for the ladies and gents and from the minute I gave them both a hug, there was just a sense to the day that these two were truly best friends and couldn’t wait to have the best day ever. I don’t really know how to put into words how or why it felt that way, but it just did. There was such an ease to all of it and those are the sorts of weddings I love to photograph.

Laura & Mike – I hope you always put out into the world what I got from you at our first date – constant smiles, a ton of laughter, and your magnetic personalities that just make others want to be as happy as you all are. I am so glad I got to capture your story and I can already foresee what an amazing life you two have ahead of you!!
