How lucky am I? In a span of a week, I have photographed my two bestest friends.
Today, the rain held off, and wonderfully overcast skies allowed for some really gorgeous photos of my almost 8 months pregnant friend Julie and her husband, Jeff. By the end of next week, they will be celebrating their one year wedding anniversary and be a week closer to welcoming Baby Partridge to the world. Let me tell you, this kid is one lucky baby (I say kid because no one, not even Jules and Jeff, know the gender). This baby is coming to parents who follow their hearts, put their trust in each other and have a power greater than themselves. They believe and are extremely optimistic and positive.
Julie is already a really great mom, I’ve decided. The relationship she has cultivated with her little fetus 🙂 is undeniably something special; the thought of other babies not being able to have her as a mother is disheartening.
Pregnant or not, Julie is absolutely breathing taking. And knowing her makes her even more magnetizing.
She has a great love for all of those near here, especially Jeff and this baby. And Jeff, well, he is pretty much going to be the greatest dad ever. As noted earlier today, reason # 436 that Jeff is going to be a great dad: he read Barbie and the Diamond Castle to Julie’s niece before bed tonight, voices and all. Oh, and during this shot below, he was telling the baby how great it looked for the camera. Cute.
I, for one, cannot wait to meet this little creature swimming around in there. Neither can Maverick.
And I can’t wait to see what this bundle of joy brings to this already amazing couple.
Julie, Jeff and Tini P – thank you so much for allowing me to spend my afternoon with you, like you had a choice, especially you Tini P. Thanks for that amazing sub I just finished off for dinner, Jeff. Hope yours was just as good. Jules, may your spirit continue to touch the lives of all you meet; thank you for touching my heart every day. You’re seriously an amazing best friend. Aww, I’m teary. Have to stop now. I love you both!
