I had an awesome weekend. From the time I got off “real” work at 6am on Friday, it was super FUN! Yesterday was no exception. After sleeping in after the amazing wedding that will be blogged tomorrow, I made my way up to Hagerstown to take photos of a couple that makes me laugh like no other. For example, I get there and after a few really entertaining stories, when we are about to get down to business they want to make sure I understand what they are going for in this shoot and show me this website. While I am always a bit scared I am going to be on one of those sites, I couldn’t help but laugh hysterically.

I have known Jared and Tomika from my very first job post college, a job I seriously loved, almost as much as photography. Almost. I was super stoked when they contacted me to do this shoot. Tomika and Jared are probably two of the funniest people I know, even more so when they are together. You never know what to expect when you are with them and also never know when they are being serious or not. Their children are in for an incredibly happy life….even if they are running scams – right, Jared?  🙂

I wanted to get some photos of them on their front porch – which required shoes, which I have learned, not from experience, are very hard to tie when you are prego. Thankfully, Jared is pretty helpful. I thought it was pretty precious.
