I have loved getting to know Ali and Jeff. I’m going to tell you all a secret: my goal when I meet with a new couple is to pretty much end the conversation not talking about photography at all and more so getting the couple to talk to me about something completely off topic. I feel like if I can get them comfortable enough to talk to me about something other than what service I can provide for them, they are going to remember me more than if I ended it talking about where to send my contract. When I met with Ali and Jeff, we ended the conversation talking about flash mobs and have since been exchanging flash mob youtube videos back and forth whenever we find good ones.

This past Sunday we set out to Fells Point to do their engagement session. I can honestly say that these are some of my most favorite photos. They just feel like they are so representative of how Ali and Jeff are as a couple. I gave pose instructions like where to put your hands and how I wanted them to lean, but I think it is Jeff’s goofy nature and love of making Ali laugh and smile that made this shoot so much fun and make the images look so laid back.

One day less than 2 months until the big day!! I can’t wait!!!
