Last week, Alina and Ilya got married at probably the cutest courthouse wedding ever. I hadn’t met the two of them aside from a skype meeting before the big day and was a tad nervous when I got there. Luckily, they had this amazing group of friends who made me feel so comfortable and welcome. And it was also incredible that Alina Ilya were so super nice and laid back. We spent a bit of time sitting in Washington, DC traffic before finally making it to the Hillwood Estate where they had arranged to take their wedding photos.
Hillwood Estate is absolutely gorgeous. It is founded by the heiress to the Post cereal empire – Marjorie Merriweather Post. The reason why Alina and Ilya love it so much is it is a place they feel very at home. They are both http://imagineear.com/pharmacy/generic-kamagra/ from Russia and Marjorie Merriweather Post just happened to be a collector of Russian imperial art and the estate is filled with amazing Russian porcelian, Faberge eggs, and tons of Russian icons and tapestries. The outdoor of the home where we spent most of our time is 25 acres of beautiful gardens all inspired by something different. It was truly a magical place to be and I look forward to going back to visit one day on my own time. Maybe Alina can give me a tour!! 🙂
Alina & Ilya – I hope you had an awesome weekend getaway and are home safe and sound now ready to embark on this new married journey together. It was truly a pleasure meeting and hanging out with your wonderful friends!! And you two could not have been more fun!
Congrats, lovebirds!!
