Just like my Friday night session didn’t disappoint, neither did Saturday. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a wedding – ya know, the kind of weather you hope for when you plan your wedding, just perfect. The morning started for me at Alysia’s parents house where we could not have felt more welcomed. I felt right at home with the puffy paint tshirts, bridesmaids that seemed like they were all bff’s, and Alysia getting beautified. Oh, and of course, Alysia’s mom offering us “exotic” beverages such as Diet Coke or Mt. Dew. I loved her.
Once the ladies were already we headed over to the Morningside Inn for all of the events! I think my favorite part of it all, despite the fact that there was some amazing dance moves by a ton of people, and a magic water portion of the ceremony, I still think the favorite part was when Alysia’s dad got up to talk and told the story of a time during Alysia’s freshman year of college when she was in the hospital with some nasty bug and they were about to release her, she is 3 hours away from home, her parent’s can’t drive down there even though that is all they wanted to do and he asked if she was going to be ok. Her response was something to the effect of yes, Mike is here. So Dad told Alysia to put Mike on the phone who he has only heard of, never met, and asked Mike if he could take care of his little girl for him. He said yes and little did he know then, it would be forever. (Total cuteness and I totally teared up).
I want to give some link love before we go onto the photos. I had an incredible time working with Heather from Morningside Inn and a great time getting to know Jack from Video Vignette. It is always fun to see Shutterbooth MD at a wedding like this! And a special thanks to MC Events for keeping the dance floor moving for me!!
Ok – photo time!
Seriously, I could have taken photos of this girl all day long. She was hysterical.
I love that one of the bridesmaid’s before I placed her in her spot said that this was so cool, it looks like the Kardashian Family Photo! Thus, I will now call it that from now on.
Giggles. They were probably talking about fish tacos aka facos.
This girl, she is a scientist. But should be a model. I love that she legit does not take herself too seriously. 🙂
Handsome groom(smen).
Such a cute moment.
Couldn’t decide which to post – silhouettes or color – so I posted both!
So in love with this tall grass!!!!!!!!!!!!! When can I go back??????
The girls found out that among the many things they had in common while they got to know each other as bridesmaids was that they all loved BSB! So they did a choreographed dance for Alysia. It was pretty amazing.
Loved this guy!
If you scroll through the rest of these you will get Don’t Stop Believing in your head, that is totally what they are all rocking out to!
And as always, it was super fun to work with the super talented, super fun, and super goofy Lauren.
