In honor of Memorial Day, I am going to go out of order and share with you the wedding I photographed on Saturday. Brandon, the groom, is in the United Stated Air Force and to show my thanks to him and servicemen in all branches, his wedding gets blogged first this week. Saturday was a laid back morning that started at Katie’s parents home and ended with laid back evening smoking cigars outside.

I truly admire this couple (and for that matter, any couple who marries a member of the armed forces).  Military couples face enormous challenges and stressors together. Being in a relationship with someone in the military requires such strength and resilience, both of which I do not possess, but I know both Katie and Brandon do and that is why they will last forever.

Katie and Brandon – hope you like the teasers!! You are truly an amazing couple and it was a joy to work with you both!
