Sunday’s wedding was so super adorable and sweet and I loved every second of it. It was held at one of my favoritest venues of all, the Elkridge Furnace Inn, and yes for the sake of this post, coughcoughMOMcough, favoritest is a word. 🙂
I have felt like I have really gotten to know this couple through reading Sarah’s awesome blog leading up to the wedding and I got to learn so much about them at the wedding as well from their amazing family and friends. They have such a love of family and included many special touches in their wedding day just for them – such as the date – would have been her father’s parents 62nd wedding anniversary. My favorite(est) story from the day was that Saturday, yes the day before their wedding, Jay came home with a (fake) black eye to play a joke on Sarah and Sarah apparently let him have it, rightfully so. During the best man speech, the best man said that he had a ton of inappropriate http://imagineear.com/pharmacy/generic-zovirax/ stories about Jay from back home but he didn’t want anyone leaving there with a black eye so he refrained from telling them. The laughter was enormous. I loved it. While I am confident in my editing skills, I was pretty happy it turned out to not be real.
Sarah and Jay are still at home taking it easy and going back to work before their month long honeymoon to Australia. Yep, everyone be as jealous as me. I just hope they post amazing pictures!! 🙂 Sarah and Jay – you have been such a pleasure to work with. Meeting your families and friends just made me feel an extension of your love! Your wedding was truly delightful!
A perfectly tied bow! I think this bridesmaid should market these types of skills.
Sarah is just beautiful.
The wedding ceremony, performed by Laura Cannon, was super funny. She read the top 10 things each of them love about each other and their lists were particularly epic.
They did the shag for their first dance! So cute!
Yay!! Married!!
