This past Saturday I made my way up to Mercersburg, PA for Emily and Sal’s wedding day. I had only skyped with the two of them since they live in Chicago but knew from the minute we got our computer cameras working that day that we would be a good fit for each other. Speaking of good fits – I can’t imagine these two not being destined to be together. It really is a perfect match and I have only seen them together for a few hours of my life.
The wedding was at the Mercersburg Inn. It appeared to be very historic and quaint but it is actually about 30 bedrooms all decorated a bit differently with the comfiest beds!! I really didn’t want to shoot from anywhere but sitting on the bed after I sat on it once. And it was super close to the church that they got married at – walking distance! Mercersburg Academy is home to one gorgeous chapel without air conditioning but that didn’t seem to matter one bit since everyone there was there to fulfill their vows as friends and see this couple be united in matrimony.
Emily and Sal are probably all settled in to their place in Paris and I wish them the best honeymoon ever!!
I had the privilege of working with many talented people this weekend that I had never worked with before:
Coordination: Lauren from The Gala Event
Florist: Roostervane Gardens
Cake: Karen Rodkey Cakes
Stationary: Matt Parker Design
On to the photos!! I loved loved loved this dress.
Emily’s sister did her makeup.
This one makes me smile.
GORGEOUS!
Such a gorgeous church.
It was super hard to not clap after this because it was just beautiful.
I love awesome exits like this!!
