106. That was Saturday’s temperature. When planning a wedding, brides worry about rain. You don’t want to plan an outdoor wedding and then have a rain. I’m sure a year ago while Rachel and Brian were planning this wedding, what they thought of as being the biggest downfall of their outdoor wedding would be the possibility of rain – not the possibility of power outages due to a storm a week prior and an “extreme heat advisory.” But to be honest, aside from when I was all done photos with the two of them, I never heard anyone complain about the heat. Everyone was there because Rachel and Brian wanted to share their union with all those present. And with strawberry soda and root beers with cute straws, their family and friends welcomed them as a married couple, all while sitting right in the sun with smiles on their faces.
Rachel and Brian are in St Lucia right now. *Insert jealous comment/faces here* But if I know Rachel she will find a way to see this blog post today! Rachel and Brian – I have had a ton of fun working with the two of you – Brian, you have the uncanny ability of unexpectedly making me laugh hysterically and Rachel – I’m so thankful he has you to make him laugh harder and calm him down when needed, especially when it is 106 degrees outside. Hope you are having a ton of fun in more like 85 degree heat.
There were so many awesome details at this wedding.
Gorge. Just so pretty!
So while I was hanging out with the girls, apparently the boys got groomsmen gifts and the groomsmen gifts were nerf guns. Pretty epic ones at that.
This guy believes in clip on ties and anything easier than actually tying it.
Photo bombers.
This is me telling them to walk cool.
Love this one of Rachel and her dad.
My fav.
It’s getting hot in here….so…..
