I often times feel like if I could just remember everything in the best man’s speech, I could write the most epic blog post ever. Or I should probably just ask them to write the post for me, but that we be too convenient. Luckily, it is Sunday morning as I am writing this and I still have a very clear picture of what Hannah’s brother said in his Man of Honor speech. Yes, Man of Honor. The word that stood out the most to me was coincidence.

Got that? Billy gave all the guests at the wedding that definition. And he was absolutely right, we were all at that wedding because of a coincidence. Billy attended the United States Naval Academy. During his plebe summer he became friends with Mark, best friends. Fast forward to ring dance during their second year, Mark didn’t have a date (although I am positive he would have had no problem finding one, he is super handsome!) and Hannah, Billy’s twin sister, had always wanted to come to Annapolis. They went to the dance as friends but kept in touch afterwards, they talked on the phone and thank goodness for modern technology, they video chatted to get to know each other better. Next thing you know, Hannah is conveniently finding jobs wherever Mark is stationed until May 21st, 2011 when Mark got his wings and during a dinner to celebrate him, proposed to the most beautiful Hannah all because of a series of coincidences.
Hannah and Mark live in Florida and I didn’t actually get to meet them in person until yesterday! Totally didn’t matter, they were the same exact couple I had met on Skype last year – fun, full of smiles, laughs at my jokes (or tolerates them) and most of all, so totally and obviously madly in love with each other.
Hannah and Mark – I had an incredible time capturing your big day – despite constant downpours, it was absolutely beautiful. I hope you are all packed up and ready to jet set to your amazing honeymoon! Don’t stop sending me your super cute emails just because your wedding is over, Hannah! I wish you both all the best in the world!

Seriously, beautiful. They were like a king and queen!
These two were hysterical – super excited they caught the bouquet and garter!
