Meredith & Andy – Baltimore Zoo

This past weekend I photographed a wedding at the Baltimore Zoo! I have been looking forward to this wedding so much since I met Meredith and Andy at, Starbucks, of course (seriously can’t wait for the day that I no longer say that). What I liked about them is that instantly as I saw them for the first time, I knew they were totally head over heels in love with each other. I love when that radiates from people – means your wedding photos are going to be extra gorge! I almost always ask couples how they met and was super excited to find out that they met online on a running/active website. After a few emails back and forth, Andy decided it was time to meet in person and ended up picking an awesome restaurant in Baltimore and meeting her there (because what girl is going to let a guy pick her up at her house on a first date when she has never met this person before?). Well, they closed the place down and found out they had a ton in common. The next date was at the Baltimore Aquarium and Meredith stole Andy’s heart when passing by the turtle tank, there were 2 or 3 turtles following another turtle and Meredith said “it looks like it’s gonna be a gang-bang.” And for Meredith, she knew Andy was perfect when he held her hand in front of the shark tank and it wasn’t as awkward as she imagined it would be. The rest of their story together started this weekend and I was so happy to be the one to capture it.

Meredith and Andy – I hope you somehow get to St. Lucia! And when you do I know you will have an incredible time….damn hurricanes! I had a truly awesome time working with the two of you and getting to know you. I wish you so much happiness and laughter in your lives together!! Make a boat drink at home and start the honeymoon before you get there!!
