Last Saturday while most of you were happily snowed in to your homes, Lauren and Eric and all but 10 of their originally scheduled wedding guests, got married. Despite the 5 hour drive from Frederick to Baltimore and Anna saving the day when I couldn’t get there in time for getting ready, I truly loved this wedding. It just goes to prove that nothing can stand in the way of love and that love has a way of making things happen. The officiant couldn’t make it but sent another officiant in her place who I adored. The first thing he talked about was how he was thinking on the way to the wedding what in the world am I going to say? It was such a unique wedding and day and then he passed the billboard in Baltimore that said, “You can’t stop us.” How true. Some days are going to be bitter and sad and absolute disasters aka blizzards on your wedding day but you have to get past that to show what can be underneath – sweet, love filled days that you remember forever.
Lauren & Eric – I hope you guys are still enjoying your wedding day snow that is still coating the ground. I hope that boards were amazing! (Yes folks, this girl took her DDS boards 5 days after her wedding…) and I hope that this honeymoon to Belize is nothing short of amazing!!
Awesome vendors made this event so fun and beautiful: Frederick Douglass Museum, Local Color Flowers and Ken Rochon from Absolute Entertainment.
