Let’s start off the week with this family that is super special to me. I have loved getting to photograph them year after year. Teddy is just getting cuter – he knows his colors (when they are in the form of M&Ms, bribery at its finest) and is saying so many words (and like most 2 year olds, not using his words as well). Elaine and Tom are still as sweet as can be. I got to this shoot 5 minutes early and I loved sitting in the living room with their pup Max on my lap, listening to Elaine reason with Teddy about why he had to wear pants. I’m sure someone will have to explain this to him later in life too. It’s these cute little things, like insisting that everything is the color red or that if mom doesn’t hold him right at this very moment, he might die, that I hope they look back and smile when they remember them when he is older from these photos.
