After a long day of 3 meetings in a row, I was not all that excited to pull up to Sherwood Gardens and see it looking like an amusement park with one million people dispersed all throughout. But when Jill and Brandon showed up, I felt like everything was going to be just fine. And it was! These two are amazing in front of the camera and I am so excited now to make them my new BFF’s and shoot their wedding later this summer. Jill and Brandon met when a former bride of mine convinced them to come to a mutual happy hour. Nothing really happened there then, no sparks flew so Blaire, my awesome bride, decided to try again with a happy hour. Brandon decided enough with the happy hours and actually talked to Jill on his own and they hit it off on their first date! Their second date was only two days later. After 2.5 years, Brandon and Jill packed up a picnic complete with a little vino and his guitar and they went to Sherwood Gardens where he picked a great spot and proposed by singing her Question by the Old 97s. Sounds just about perfect! For their engagement session, it only made sense to make it back to Sherwood Gardens and take advantage of all of its beauty. I truly could not be more excited about working with these two!
