Is this thing on? I haven’t blogged since before Christmas and I am trying to remember how to. I have been overwhelmed with so much love and fun around this holiday time that I had decided to take a step back and spend some time with people that I love and not so much technology. That being said, I have two more weddings from the end of 2015 to share with you and this post before I can officially say bye to 2015!! I did 47 amazing weddings this year, unknowingly, and it would be very remiss of me if I didn’t send out two very big thank yous!
To all my brides and grooms and moms and dads and amazing bridal parties of 2015 – I cannot thank you enough for making this year one of the most fun and memorable yet. From the ridiculous convos during getting ready photos filled with movie quotes and good cheer, to the one bridesmaid or groomsmen I can always depend on to take my teasing for the sake of getting everyone to laugh, and to the sweet toasts filled with so much emotion because you sincerely love who you are toasting, to the drunken debauchery at receptions that makes for epic photos, I cannot thank you enough. I love my job so much and it is because I get to work with all of you. As much as you picked me, I picked you guys right back. It is so amazing to be invited into someone’s life for 8 to 10 hours on a day you will remember forever. I’m truly grateful.
To my second shooters for 2015 – Thank you so much for everything. I cannot do what I do without you on those huge wedding days. I love having you to laugh with, to calm me down when I am getting frazzled, to give me that eye when you think I am being absolutely ridiculous. Thanks for getting me water and telling me to sit down, especially once I became pregnant. Thanks for your concerned look when I was visibly pregnant and still standing on speakers and for spotting me while I hopped down. And thanks the most for becoming my friends. No matter how I found you, all of you have become some of the most important people in my life.
That one time the dad tripped on his daughter’s veil so I just planted it right back in… hysterical.
I think this is my most favorite series of photos ever. Eddie – your family loved the photos, man!
I scooted one step closer.
This is me telling my second where my bag is because I bet I have my 70-200 on still.
Totes normal. Sometimes means I am hungryyyyyyy.
My seconds always hide in bushes.
I matched the bridal party so well!
That one time when Anna hit a wedding guest in the head with her flash.
Baby bump!!!
I really got lazy with the sock buns this year.
Sometimes I get sleepy.
Love this girl!!
