Kim & Kyle have a love story that has been in the making since 2009 during baseball season. As inside sales reps for the Nationals, they became great friends and as the season was coming to a close, their relationship was just starting. Last year, Kyle popped the question on Valentine’s Day which is funny because these two have never made a big deal about Valentine’s day. In fact, last year they went to Abbey Burger with friends. But this year in particular Kyle asked that morning if maybe she would be interested in a bottle of wine for after work, of course she said yes. Because wine.  When she came home, ready for her at home happy hour to start with Kyle, he brought out a bottle that asked “Will you marry me?” And in true Kim fashion her response was “Are you serious?” Serious enough that I got to photograph their wedding as the first one back after maternity leave. I had so much fun photographing their day and seeing all their personal touches come together – especially the flowers and centerpieces – her dad made the centerpieces and Kim did all the flowers!! Amazing!!
