On what had to have been the hottest day of the summer so far (and during a crazy pride weekend parade), Elizabeth and Bill got married at the Peabody in Baltimore. Lucky for us we had beautiful indoor space to work in and got to beat some of the 116º heat. I loved these two. Elizabeth, when I called from 95 with a flat tire, was so sweet and as soon as I got there nearly right on time, insisted I have a glass of champagne, which I did happily. Anyone who provides you with alcohol when you are slightly stressed, is the best. Getting ready could not have been more fun, we listened to all my favorite 90s jams including some Montell Jordan which always gets the party going and set the scene for the rest of the day. Their ceremony was beautiful and so them. And their reception was a blast. I mean with Black Tie Band keeping the party going, you know it was going to be an awesome night! Also, huge thanks to Elizabeth Bailey Weddings for planning an amazing event! And to the rest of the vendors that made it super fun as always: The Brushing Bride, Occasions Caterers, The Peabody Library staff, Petal and Print, Top Tier Photobooth, Garnish Boutique, Event Dynamics, and for sure Lauren Nievod Photography and her husband Howard who came to change my tire after Subaru Roadside Assistance totally failed me. I have no doubt that the world is a happier and better place because these two are married and could not have been happier to work with a team who made it so great!
