I love going up to NYC for engagement sessions. Seriously. You hop on the train, get coffee when you get there, hop on the subway, and take pretty pictures in a brand new place and you can be home by 4pm if you want. It’s awesome. I met Lauren and Mike at their home in Queens and then walked super far across the street to Astoria Park for some pretty photos. I love the memories these two have in the city and I am so glad they opted for a session where they currently live. I loved hearing Mike joke about Lauren going to the community pool, and Lauren showing me her reading spot on the mornings Mike sleeps in. So many happy things happen right in their neighborhood for these two. Could not have been to capture these for them!
