We had been planning for a snowy engagement session since we met. We would text back and forth about when it was going to snow and trying to make plans, set up a babysitter, put on our snow boots and play while those tiny flakes fell all around us. Instead, when it looked like we weren’t getting any snow ever, we scheduled their engagement session for mid February around the same time we had so much snow on the ground the last two years. But instead of the ground being covered in fluffy white stuff, we were basically sweating in nearly 80 degree temps. Oh the irony. They didn’t have to shiver, or take “warm breaks,” we got to play in the warm sun in these beautiful fields in Frederick and I don’t think any of us walked around wishing for snow.
