I loved getting to Jacqueline and Kyle’s engagement session a little early. I got some time to hang out with Jacqueline! Kyle was coming separately so we sat in my car and chatted about life and wedding plans and got to talking about being oblivious to things – sorta like the day she got engaged. She seriously did not understand why Kyle wanted to go to Fort McHenry so early in the morning or why no one in her family wanted to come with them. In fact, she was downright angry that she was only in town for a few days and none of her family wanted to spend time with her that morning. Jacqueline always straightens her hair and gets her nails done (she went with purple before her trip home instead of her usual pinks) but on this particular morning she went with her natural curls and her O’s t-shirt since they were going to the game later in the day. Kyle’s response was “Are you sure you want to wear that?” Hysterical. She was caught completely off guard when Kyle proposed by the water and even more so when her own sister hops out of the bushes and shows her all the photos she got of him proposing. Our convo ended with Kyle showing up – but that was definitely when the fun started! I loveddddd goofing off with these two around the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson. Jacqueline actually zipped by this place every morning on her way to school when she was 16 and never really stopped to give it a look until that day. I cannot wait to have them in front of my camera again this July!!
