When Christine and Alan first got in touch with me about their Evergreen Museum & Library wedding in Maryland, I was so excited – they were planning a really fun fall wedding with an outdoor ceremony, and even homemade brewskis as their parting gifts for their guests! Christine and Alan seemed like the sweetest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
I began the morning at Sagamore Pendry, where Chrstine was getting ready, and it was so relaxed, because everyone was in a good mood and things were running super early. Plus, the bridesmaids were hysterical. Christine wore the most beautiful white BHLDN gown and Alan wore a sharp black tux and they looked so perfect together.
The wedding reception took place in the Carriage House at Evergreen Museum, which they’d decorated with beautiful deep greens and pops of blue. It was gorgeous. It was a beautifully sunny day, which was lovely. While the guests enjoyed the cocktails, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. And then the party got underway where everyone had a blast watching Christine get low, and family and friends danced the night away!!
