Oh man. I am pretty nervous to write this post. I mean, I know my brides, both past and present ones, read this blog. But I happen to know for a fact that Jaime really, REALLY reads my blog and I want to make sure this post is epic. So, Jaime, this is your wedding blog post!
Ryan and Jaime met at Frostburg University. When it came that special time about a year ago to propose, it seemed only suitable to go back to the area. Ryan had this big plan to propose at Dan’s Rock, which is this gorgeous overlook where you can see parts of Ohio (I literally just looked it up online and it is seriously beautiful). But when they got there, police cars and fire trucks had the area all blocked off because someone had gone missing the night before. Scrambling, Ryan decided that he would take her to dorm that they met at, but for whatever reason they were not able to do that either. So, with the ring burning a hole in his pocket (and I am sure Jaime knowing something was up) he asked, right there in the middle of campus. He was so flustered that he forgot to get down on one knee – something he genuinely feels bad about forgetting. But not to worry, Jaime got another gorgeous ring, even other than her wedding band, as a wedding gift from Ryan and this time, he put it on her finger on one knee and I got to capture it. Even better.
Despite the occasional afternoon rain shower, Friday was absolutely gorgeous. Jaime and her awesome gals got ready at her family home in Churchton right by the water. Overhills Mansion was stuffed with amazing family and friends and even bagpipes! I was seriously loving all of it! Jaime and Ryan – I hope you have an amazing time sipping drinks on the beach in Jamaica next week – you totally deserve it. Thank you so much for allowing me into your lives and letting me spend an incredible day with your family and seriously hysterical friends.
A wedding with Up Do’s for I Do’s is a happy day.
I would like to give a shout out to my boys – J Nasty and White Cheddar!! Holler!!!!!
I really need to stop crying at first looks… this one was adorable.
GORGE!
Seriously, Jaime…..
Jaime had the most fashionable and coordinated bridesmaids, right down to the matching Coach bags.
Oh Ryan, you are seriously too cute.
