Oh man, you are in trouble, internet. When I started to choose photos for this blog post I chose 134!! Max for a blog post for me is usually 40 and that is overkill. So, be prepared for a pretty epic post.
About a year ago I was contacted by the incredibly talented Michele, at Green with Envy Events, who wanted to schedule a meeting for a potential bride. I was super excited. At that point I had never been contacted by a wedding planner before, but I sure as heck was not going to let her know that, I had to exude confidence with every email because this could be so cool!!! Work with a wedding coordinator for someone’s wedding…sweet! The minute I met Ellie, it took everything I had not to beg her to book me. She was absolutely stunning and super fun and just a great person to be around and I was positive that whoever the lucky guy was and everyone at the wedding would be the exact same way. I knew even before their engagement session that she was going to be one of my most model-rific brides ever.
The wedding was this past Saturday and it could not have blown me away more. It was held at the gorgeous Brittland Manor in Chestertown, MD right on the water. The scenery was amazing, the details were so meticulously thought out and beautifully arranged and the guys and gals could not have been more photogenic. There was nothing I would have done differently. I got to work with some incredible new vendors – Blossom Productions out of Philly and the ladies at Gloss Salon.
Ellie & Dan – I hope you are enjoying paradise and fondly thinking about your more than perfect day. Because it totally was absolutely perfect. Thank you for being so kind, wonderful and just lovely. It was a sincere honor to document your love and I wish you all the best of everything.
Janice, Janice, Janice – thank you for being an amazing second shooter and keeping me sane all day long! You are an amazing friend and have got this photography thing down pat, girl! Don’t ever think for a minute that you don’t have what it takes!
This was the rehearsal bouquet that Dan’s mom made for Ellie – it was so beautiful and so intricate, I loved it and was dying to take 400 photos of it.
Even the cocktail details were amazing – purple cauliflower!!
And the details inside the tent were to die for!
Seriously! SERIOUSLY!
The mom dances were my fav <3
Nothing beats a live band, guys and gals! Everyone rocks out all night long!
Hope everything is absolutely magical from now until forever, Ellie & Dan!!
