One thing I never regret is taking the opportunity to photograph my own family members. This past Sunday, Randy, my cousin, and his gorgeous fiance Yasaman came up to Frederick (a first for Yasaman!) and I dragged them to a field for their engagement session that I had seen on the way home from an earlier event that day. The field was not at all fenced off, was literally on the side of the road, and did not have a no trespassing sign. Yes, you can see where this is going. I, obviously, thought that is was NOT private property or else I might not have gone on it. But here we are traipsing into this field with my blanket, big old camera bag and my gorgeous couple when a lady comes out screaming “HEY!” Shiz…mission calm field owner down and figure out new spot was unfolding in my head. Luckily, she was very nice, just wanted to know what in the world we were doing. She owns a ton of land, introduced herself explained that she has guard dogs that are around so don’t be startled and we spent about 30 minutes capturing some pretty pretty pictures before the rain came down. Thanks, field owner Susan!!
Can’t wait until their wedding on May 5th!!
